AudioCodes Survivable Branch Appliances (SBAs) for Microsoft Lync
AudioCodes’ family of Survivable Branch Appliances (SBAs) is an essential element for multisite deployments of Microsoft Lync Unified Communications. AudioCodes SBAs are fully certified by Microsoft and ensure continued access to Lync services, including voice and data communications, during WAN outages.
Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) is a hardware device that includes a subset of Lync capabilities, including a set of services which run the SBA applications and a Gateway. The SBA application enables users to continue placing and receiving voice calls in a remote branch during a Wide Area Network (WAN) failure.
AudioCodes offers a family of Survivable Branch Appliances that can fit any Enterprise location size, providing branch office voice resiliency for up to 1000 users. AudioCodes SBAs provide unique product capabilities and built-in complementary services.
AudioCodes Analog Device
Microsoft Lync provides support for analog devices, including analog phones and fax, using an analog telephone adapter or a PSTN analog gateway for interface connectivity. AudioCodes provides a wide range of analog device options with its line of SBAs, Enhanced Gateways and analog gateways. This allows enterprise customers to reduce the total cost of ownership of their communications infrastructure.
Mediant 800 SBA
AudioCodes Mediant 800 MSBR can be delivered in several pre-defined configurations, supporting a single E1/T1 trunk, up to 4 BRI ports (8 calls) or up to 12 analog (FXS/FXO) ports. In addition, the Mediant 800 support a Multi-Service Business Router configuration, which integrates into the solution the support of secured data routing, LAN switching and wide area network connectivity, providing the enterprise with a fully integrated branch office solution.
Mediant 1000 SBA
AudioCodes’ Mediant 1000 Media Gateway supports different modular configurations, enabling the connection of the Microsoft Unified Communications solution to different models of PBXs using different types of telephony interfaces, including E1/T1/J1 spans, BRI interfaces and/or analog ports in various FXO/FXS configurations. It can also connect directly to IP-PBXs and SIP Trunk Service Providers. The Mediant 1000 can also support a Multi-Service Business Router configuration, which integrates into the solution the support of secured data routing, LAN switching, wide area network connectivity and Enterprise class Session Border Controller, providing the enterprise with a fully integrated branch office solution.
Mediant 2000 SBA
AudioCodes’ Mediant 2000 Media Gateway supports different configurations, enabling the connection of the Microsoft Unified Communications solution to different models of PBXs using E1/T1/J1 interfaces. The compact Mediant 2000 VoIP Gateway scales from 1 to 16 E1/T1/J1 spans in a 1U chassis.
