Using AudioCodes Mediant 1000 Media Gateways within the Avaya Modular Messaging environment allows the Message Application Servers (MASs) in a single Voice Mail Domain (VMD) to communicate with multiple switches with different dial plans, in different locations, resulting in improved interoperability with third party PBXs and heterogeneous dial plans.
