Avtex, Inetium and Convergent joined forces on January 1st, 2011 to create the new Avtex. The new Avtex unites two Pohlad Family Companies Inetium and Avtex with recently acquired Convergent.

The new Avtex combines Inetium's strong portal, collaboration, CRM, infrastructure and application development capabilities with Avtex's deep contact center, IP telephony, and notification skills with Convergent's nationally recognized leadership in unified communications.

The mission of the new Avtex is to focus on optimizing our clients' interactions with their customers, employees, partners and prospects through the use of communication and collaboration technologies.

The new Avtex is headquartered in Bloomington, MN and employs over 220 people.
