VMAS for BroadSoft is a BroadSoft-certified Unified Communications solution from AudioCodes. It enables enterprise workers to gain access via their mobile devices and PCs to unified communications (UC) services that are hosted by service providers using the BroadSoft’s BroadWorks application server.
VMAS for BroadSoft is fully integrated with Broadsoft’s BroadWorks Application Server solution. It comprises a Client Management System (CMS) and soft clients that run on the end-users’ mobile devices, as well as on their PCs.
With the VMAS soft client for BroadSoft, end users of BroadWorks benefit from high quality VoIP and video calls on their existing mobile phones, tablets, laptops and PCs. In addition to VoIP calls, users can enjoy many of BroadWorks Unified Communications services such as access to the corporate directory, instant messaging (IM), user-defined contact lists, presence and video calling.
With VMAS for BroadSoft, BroadWorks users can also control advanced BroadWorks services settings remotely. Wherever they are, BroadWorks’ users can configure a range of personal calling features such as:
- Call forwarding (on Busy, No Answer, Voicemail, Not Reachable)
- Do Not Disturb
- Remote Office
- BroadWorks Anywhere
The VMAS soft client for BroadSoft supports a variety of mobile devices and different operating systems, including:
- PC client for laptops, PC and notebooks running XP, Vista and Windows 7
- iOS client for iPhone and iPad
- Android client for mobile and tablets.
The VMAS CMS is a centralized management tool that offers service providers efficient distribution, provisioning and management of the mobile and PC clients. The CMS supports dozens of customized features that meet the needs of service providers, including XML-based APIs to integrate with service providers’ customer management and provisioning servers.
