AudioCodes in EMEA and Latin America

AudioCodes in EMEA and Latin America
Gary Drutin
Vice President, EMEA & Latin America

AudioCodes has been growing its sales consecutively for the past 18 quarters.
This growth is fueling our investment in R&D, marketing and sales.

Geographically our sales coverage is split into three sales regions: North America, Asia, and EMEA / Latin America.

EMEA and Latin America markets are diverse and are comprised of developed countries with de-regulated telephony and emerging countries that are only beginning their de-regulations.

To support growth in sales and our customer base, we are implementing two main initiatives:

  1. Moving the sales force closer to the customer, by opening remote offices and recruiting new sales and pre-sales managers in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Russia, France, Germany and United Kingdom.

  2. Aligning the sales force according to the company business focus of selling technology solutions to OEM customers, and working closely with service providers to promote our networking solutions.

As this new initiative is implemented, we can observe constant growth and great market potential in both markets: the OEM market and the carrier solutions market.

In the OEM market, we are currently working closer with the major global and European NEPs (Network Equipment Providers) to integrate our technologies and products into their NGN solutions. There is a growing interest in the integrating of AudioCodes’ Media Server technology as a standard IMS offering of leading players. In addition, an increasing number of OEMs (NEPs and Soft-Switch/application vendors) are adopting AudioCodes’ media gateways as a standard extension of their access gateways and trunking gateways solutions.

The Carrier market is expanding as VOIP becomes a valid mature technology. AudioCodes strategy of interoperability and multi-protocol support allows us to play a key role in the open, standard-based IMS world of NGN. Our truly open and standard implementation supporting wireline and wireless infrastructures simultaneously is positioning Audiocodes as a key partner for convergence and FMC. As such, we attract the attention of a growing number of Tier-1 and Tier-2 carriers.

From the product’s perspective, the launch of our residential gateway, the MP-202 has allowed AudioCodes to compete in new markets thereby capitalizing on existing and future opportunities.

While establishing direct relationships with end-customers, we are committed to our channel partners and are constantly expanding our channel base in the region by recruiting new system integrators for large carrier networks. This joint collaboration of the channel and AudioCodes’ sales force allows us to maximize our coverage of the market and continue our growth into the future.
