BroadSoft PacketSmart Solution

A key challenge for service providers and multi-site enterprise network operators is delivering superior voice and video quality to their end users over complex data networks. To accomplish this, operators must keep packet loss, jitter and congestion to a minimum - requiring visibility to network conditions, allowing them to diagnose and correct bottlenecks in the network.

Until now, network monitoring often required a dedicated network probe on-site that would measure, capture and report real-time network conditions. The dedicated equipment usually required access to a network switch “monitor” port, re-cabling at the customer premise, and access to power and shelf space for the duration of the diagnosis and monitoring. The result was costly for the operator and disruptive for the end user.

Fortunately, a new integrated solution is now available - many AudioCodes Multi-Service Business Gateways and Multimedia Home Gateways are now BroadSoft PacketSmart enabled. The integrated solution results in a single device at the end user premise that provides both network access and provide always-on network monitoring capabilities.
