Multi Service Business Gateways (MSBGs) are networking devices that combine multiple multiservice functions such as a Media Gateway, Session Border Controller, Data Router & Firewall, LAN Switch, WAN access, Stand Alone Survivability (SAS) and more. The MSBG concept is designed to address the needs of Service Providers and Cable Operators when offering IP-Centrex and SIP Trunking services, as well as the needs of distributed Enterprises.

The Mediant 1000 Modular Media Gateway is a compact and cost-effective media gateway solution which has been designed to interface between TDM & IP networks in enterprises or small-scale carrier locations. The compact Mediant 1000 modular gateway is extremely scalable and supports multiples of 1, 2 or 4 E1/T1/J1 spans or 1 to 24 analog ports in various FXS/FXO configurations. The Mediant 1000 supports mixed digital/analog configurations and an optional OSN (Open Solutions Network) server, hosting third party VoIP applications.

AudioCodes' Analog Media Gateway product family is based on AudioCodes' field-proven and best-of-breed VoIP technology. Featuring from 2 to 24 analog ports, the gateways connect analog terminals, PBXs or key systems to the IP network using FXO or FXS connectivity. Compliant with multiple protocols including SIP, H.323 and MGCP, the Analog Media Gateways enable flexible deployment and interoperability for the evolving next generation networks. Featuring up to 20 BRI ports, the gateways connect PBXs or key systems to the IP network using ISDN-BRI connectivity. Compliant with multiple protocols including SIP and H.323, the BRI Media Gateways enable flexible deployment and interoperability for the evolving Next Generation Networks.
