mar. 19, 2007

Spring VON Conference & Expo and Lod, Israel – March 19, 2007 – AudioCodes (NASDAQ:AUDC), a leading provider of Voice over Packet (VoP) technologies and Voice Network products, today announced that APEX Voice Communications has completed the integration of the AudioCodes IPM-260/SIP media resource board into the OmniVox3D® SIP Application Server solution.  As a result of this integration, APEX’s OmniVox3D® Application Server together with AudioCodes’ IPM-260/SIP media resource boards, provide wireline and wireless telecom service providers with a faster method to design, develop and deploy standards-compliant multi-media services including Real Time Billing (Prepaid), Calling Cards, IVR, Unified Messaging, and Conference Calling.

“We are very excited to highlight the integration with APEX as it demonstrates our SIP strategy in action,” said Sharone Ben-Levi, VP of Marketing for the AudioCodes Blade Business Line.  “In this integration, APEX leveraged the on-board SIP and MSCML features of the IPM-260/SIP board avoiding the problems associated with operating-system dependent device drivers and APIs found in legacy CTI boards.”

“We are very pleased to be working with AudioCodes and leveraging their SIP and MSCML features,” said Elhum Vahdat, Executive Vice President of APEX Voice Communications.  “Our OmniVox3D Application Server together with AudioCodes’ media server blades are an ideal combination for value-added IP multi-media services.”

The AudioCodes IPM-260/SIP is a complete VoIP media resource solution on a PCI form-factor board and a member of the successful IPmedia™ product family, which includes PCI, cPCI and pre-packaged systems products. The IPM-260/SIP offers a range of media resources including IVR, conferencing, tone detection, and transcoding required for both enterprise and carrier enhanced applications. Leveraging the AudioCodes SIP architecture, the IPM-260/SIP is specifically designed to take command and control via SIP and MSCML over Ethernet, eliminating the need for PCI drivers or complex API development and allows for more efficient and flexible distributed architectures. The IPM-260/SIP enables next generation applications for both today’s and tomorrow’s networks.
