Lod, Israel - August 16, 2012 - AudioCodes (NasdaqGS: AUDC), a leading provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies, products and services, today announced that its Enterprise Session Border Controller (E-SBC) has been certified by Genesys, the world’s leading provider of customer service and contact center software and services, for use with Genesys SIP Server 8.x.
As part of the AudioCodes strategic alignment with Genesys around all-IP contact centers, AudioCodes is now offering its line of E-SBCs that is based on the Mediant hybrid platform. This platform enables users to pace migration from TDM to IP, to phase project costs and to mitigate concerns and risks by supporting a hybrid TDM/IP connectivity mode on the same device. E-SBC certification joins the existing gateway and IP phone certifications for AudioCodes products, positioning AudioCodes as a complete connectivity partner for Genesys, their systems integrators and reseller partners.
As part of a joint effort to help contact center customers adopt SIP trunking going forward, AudioCodes and Genesys have established a certification lab in North Carolina, capable of simulating an entire distributed Genesys contact center environment and offering SIP trunk ongoing validation and certification services.
