AudioCodes Introduces a Triple T3 Interface to its Blades, Media Gateway and Media Server Platforms

San Jose, Spring VON 2006 Conference & Expo, California, Lod, Israel, March 13, 2006 - AudioCodes (NASDAQ: AUDC), a leading provider of Voice over Packet (VoP) technologies and Voice Network products, today announced the availability of a VoIP Media Gateway cPCI Blade that offers up to three T3 interfaces. The TP-6310/T3 blade is a newly developed Voice over IP (VoIP) cPCI Media Gateway that offers the use of T3 PSTN connections, supporting from 672 up to 2016 independent Low Bit Rate (LBR) universal channels. The TP-6310/T3 supports SIP, MGCP, TGCP and Megaco, in addition to AudioCodes’ API over IP (TPNCP) and offers considerable flexibility for managing and implementing distributed gateway architecture for Wireline, Wireless, Cable and Fixed-Mobile-Convergence applications in the North American market.
The TP-6310/T3 is available as a standalone blade as well as integrated in the Mediant™ and IPmedia™ lines of VoIP Media Gateways and Media Servers. It is offered to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and System Integrators (SIs), implementing high density solutions in carrier and large enterprise environments. Gateway blades and integrated systems provide a comprehensive solution for the requirements of 
high-density VoIP, IMS, Fixed Mobile Convergence, IP-enabled call centers and large enterprise media gateways, which require T3 PSTN connectivity. It also addresses compact media server deployments that need an integrated T3 PSTN interface.

The TP-6310/T3 and Integrated platforms (Mediant™ 3000, Mediant™ 5000, Mediant™ 8000, 
IPmedia™ 3000, IPmedia™ 5000 and IPmedia™ 8000) are generally available to AudioCodes’ customers and are being incorporated into several partners’ solutions in North America.
