AudioCodes Successfully Completes Certification Testing With Digium’s Asterisk Business Edition Software

AstriCon Exhibition in Dallas, TX and Lod, Israel – October 24, 2006 - AudioCodes (NASDAQ:AUDC), a leading provider of Voice over Packet (VOP) technologies and Voice Network products, and Digium® Inc., the Asterisk® company, today announced the successful completion of certification testing of AudioCodes media gateway platforms using Digium’s Asterisk Business Edition, the professional grade version of Asterisk, the industry’s first open source telephony platform. AudioCodes and Digium’s collaboration will offer better design options for telephony developers, and enable rapid deployment of high quality and scalable SIP-based solutions.

AudioCodes SIP Gateway products including the TP260/SIP, Mediant™ 1000 and the MediaPack™, underwent a rigorous testing process to determine interoperability and compatibility when integrated with Digium’s Asterisk Business Edition software.
