AudioCodes, a leading provider of converged voice solutions that enable enterprises and service providers to transition to all-IP voice networks, today announced that its Session Border Controller (SBC) has been certified by SAP Labs Finland to be compatible with SAP Contact Center software. AudioCodes’ Mediant SBC connects SAP Contact Center to SIP trunk services and is designed for deployment in a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) model or as an on-premises solution.
AudioCodes’ line of Mediant SBCs forms a vital part of AudioCodes’ strategic alignment with leading contact center solution vendors to simplify secured connectivity of IP contact centers to SIP trunk providers. The Mediant SBC platform features optional TDM interfaces enabling IP contact center vendors to offer smooth migration from PSTN to SIP trunking. Building on AudioCodes’ existing media gateway and IP phone certifications, the addition of certified SBCs positions AudioCodes as a complete voice partner for SAP, its systems integrators and its reseller partners.
