Description

The Materials Planner is responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring material requirements to ensure timely support of customer orders, internal operations, and production activities. The role involves working closely with ERP systems, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure material availability, support product lifecycle transitions, and implement engineering changes. This position plays a critical role in operational execution within the Supply Chain organization.

Your mission

  • Provide delivery commitments for customer orders and internal requests
  • Plan and manage material requirements using the ERP system (Oracle Applications)
  • Generate production plans for subcontractors and purchasing plans for suppliers
  • Monitor material availability and proactively identify and resolve shortages
  • Support the transition of products from development to mass production from a materials planning perspective
  • Implement engineering change orders (ECOs) within the planning process
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on schedules, priorities, and changes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (engineering faculty graduates preferred)
  • Up to two years of relevant experience in a high-tech or industrial environment – advantage
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, MFG-PRO)
  • Excellent English proficiency, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with a solid understanding of supply chain and production processes
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, collaboration mindset, service orientation, and assertiveness
